Every skin varies but with some of the modalities there will be some downtime, your skin specialist can go through this with you. For example the RÖ GLAZE & SkinPen Micro-needling will leave your skin red and dry for up to 6-8 days post treatment.

It’s also important to follow aftercare advice to minimise irritation. You will receive after care after in your pre information with your consultation forms. It’s a good idea to keep things basic with your skincare routine for a few days after your facial so your skin can adjust.

Up to 10,000 light pulses per treatment activate the biological processes in the deep layers of the skin which house our integral collagen and elastin fibres – building and banking collagen and elastin. The heat from the laser can also constrict blood vessels, which helps fight redness and rosacea. It can also help treat acne and scarring

This is the perfect facial for someone who wants results with relaxation. We start with a deep cleanse, a lactic acid peel and perform between 12,000-14,000 shots of laser genesis. Laser genesis feels warming and very comfortable. This wonderful facial ends with Omnilux light therapy and a hand and arm massage.

This treatment helps to treat a variety of concerns. It reduces lines, wrinkles, rosacea, acne, redness.. Laser Genesis is seen as incredible skin health treatment within the aesthetic industry. Scarring, fine lines and skin texture including large pore size are also improved via collagen stimulation with this micro-pulse light technology.

How does it feel and is there any downtime?
Laser genesis feels warming and very comfortable. There is no downtime with just laser genesis alone, you may have a slight warmth and redness to your skin but this looks more like a healthy glow than anything invasive.
How many treatments will I need and what results will I see?
We recommend a course of six-eight treatments with four week intervals to see changeable results.

This photo-facial uses Non-invasive Intense Pulsed Light energy (IPL) which is deposited into the deepest layers of the skin. When the skin is heated, your body gets rid of the unwanted cells, and that gets rid of the thing you’re being treated for. Unlike lasers, an IPL sends out more than one wavelength of pulsating light.

Whilst IPL is not described as a relaxing facial it does deliver amazing results! During the procedure, people may feel a pinching sensation. Some individuals have described this as a feeling similar to an elastic band being “pinged” on the skin. We will help to minimise any discomfort by performing with an aloe Vera gel and ice cold packs to numb the skin. Depending on the concern your treating, you may find you start to see darkening patches where your pigment is coming through or redness if you’re treating rosacea/broken capillaries. These are all normal signs, your practitioner will explain prior to your treatment on what to expect.

The best candidates for photo-facials are people with sun-damaged skin demonstrated by age spots, liver spots, rosacea, acne and light freckling, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, red and flushed faces, broken capillaries and loose skin. An added benefit is that the photo-facial stimulates new collagen, resulting in smoother, healthier skin.

How many treatments will I need and what results will I see?
Depending on what concern you’re treating depends on the amount of treatments. If it’s skin rejuvenation you can results in as little of three treatments. If you’re treating pigmentation or ageing concerns this may be up to six to eight with four week intervals. This is all discussed with your aesthetic practitioner.

This will then appear in a ‘coffee grain’ appearance that will go dry and disappear within three to five days. When treating veins they can appear darker at first, you can also experience some redness and heat within the skin. Slight discomfort can be expected immediately after the treatment.

The IPL Limelight & Laser Genesis combination pulsed light therapies provide relief from skin redness and capillary damage while simultaneously promoting collagen activation. This will plump fine lines and reduce hyperpigmentation at the layers where cellular breakdown begins. We include a Peel and Omnilux LED light therapy in this treatment to maximise your results.

The combination of the two lasers work deeper within the skin to stimulate collagen and elasticity, normalise your capillary network and improve skin’s texture. When combating ageing concerns it’s important we have regular facials to boost collagen levels. It’s a bit like taking your skin to the gym!

Environ’s peeling formulations are of low percentage and low pH. This results in an effective peeling treatment that is very gentle on the skin. It preserves as much of the epidermis as possible. Scientifically formulated, this technology feels cool and comfortable when applied to the skin. It also stimulates the fibroblasts in the dermis to increase the quantity of collagen, which helps to improve the appearance of ageing, and sun-damaged skin.

Although rosacea is a stubborn condition to treat and often flares up from time to time, environ’s cool peel system is truly the best for keeping it at bay. We recommend a course of treatments to reduce redness and to help kill bacteria that can cause papules and pustules.

Environ Cool Peel Technology is a fully customisable system that a trained skincare professional can control throughout the treatment. Peels can be very mild and gentle for first time users. This treatment can also be intensified to become a more advanced experience if the skin requires it. So it’s suitable for everyone!

Is there any downtime?
No! During your Environ peel, you may experience a warm, tingling sensation, however most clients experience no discomfort. After your peel, your skin may feel tight and slightly warm. The most your skin will feel is slightly sensitised for up to 48hrs but this does pass.

How many treatments will I need?
Usually a course of six treatments is recommended at 10-14 day intervals for optimum results. But this can be discussed and reviewed throughout your treatments.

Micro-needling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that helps minimise the signs of ageing and scarring. The SkinPen micro-needling device causes controlled micro-injuries that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process. The micro-injuries trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to remodelling of the tissue, stopping, and reversing ageing and scarring concerns!

There are three phases to the wound-repair process:

• Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to cleanse the wound, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
• Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
• Phase III: Remodelling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.

One of our Aesthetic practitioners will carefully assess your skin to establish if you are a candidate and will thoroughly explain the procedure, risks and benefits prior to treatment.

Prior to your treatment we will cleanse the skin and apply a topical anaesthetic cream, this is so the treatment is more comfortable. The treatment doesn’t hurt but simply feels scratchy. The SkinPen is carefully glided across the area of concern using the Skinfuse LIFT HG (Allergy free from cytotoxic) to create hundreds of microscopic puncture wounds which stimulates the natural repair process and activates collagen and elastin production. Erythema should be visible with possible signs of blood spotting, this gives us indication that the depth is at its correct point in order to penetrate deep enough into the skin.

SkinPen Precision can help correct:

Is there any down time?
With SkinPen, there is some down time. It doesn’t require putting a paper bag on your head for a week but you will experience some redness initially for the first 48hrs and dryness for anything up to 10 days.
POST TREATMENT:
You should avoid touching the area or applying any products onto the skin for 12 hours in order to prevent infection. Post treatment Skinfuse LIFT HG can be applied to help soothe the area. After 12 hours Skinfuse RESCUE Calming complex can be used to help support remodelling of the skin. The treatment area can be red and warm for 24 to 48 hours post treatment but most patients see a reduction in erythema after 24 hours of treatment. Specific post treatment instructions will be given to you by your aesthetic practitioner.
How many is recommended?
SkinPen micro-needling sessions are usually spaced four to six weeks apart. Sessions are spaced at least one month apart because it can take anywhere from four to six weeks for the full results of treatment to be realised. This is if you’re treating a specific concern, if you’re wanting to keep skin healthy and maintain skin health, you can have this treatment every 3 months. Recommendation for skin pen is anything between 3-6 session but each case varies on what concern you’re treating.

Clinically proven wavelengths of monochromatic light stimulate specific cells within the body – resulting in a reduction in wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, general redness, rosacea and acne lesions. Omnilux phototherapy has also been proven to stimulate blood flow and the penetration and activation of skincare products applied topically to the skin. Specific Omnilux wavelengths have been demonstrated to enhance cellular metabolism and cell permeability which allows topical actives to penetrate deeper and speed up the activation of ingredients in the skin.

A single session of omnilux is 30 Minutes including a cleanse, moisturise and hand & arm massage while the LED is on. The light is very bright at first but we do put on goggles and after just a few moments your eyes adjust – just sit back and relax! It’s very repairing for your eyes also, it’s often used after laser eye surgery! You can also add this on to any other facials.

A course of treatment is recommended although you can see a result after one treatment.

How often should I have a treatment?
Different people react in different ways, depending on your age and the condition of your skin. The courses of Omnilux red light are sold in a package of 6 which is recommend 1-2 times per week. You can have top up treatments if and when needed, with follow-up treatments every four to six weeks if needed.
Can you tighten the skin?
Omnilux Therapy is one of the most scientifically tested and proven solution for anti-aging problems and skin issues such as acne, rosacea etc. Therapy works by radiating vitality generating streams of red LED light deep into the skin.
