Is there any downtime?
Thanks to the unique delivery of Secret RF, there is little to no downtime required after sessions. On the day of your treatment, you may find that your skin has a little redness and may be a little sore to touch or have minor swelling and a slight roughness for a week. However, by the next day, you can usually return to wearing makeup and using your recommended skincare.
How many Secret RF treatments will I need?
Clients typically need 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Most patients report seeing improvement after the second treatment however results are optimised 3 months after the first treatment.
Why is Secret™ RF better than Traditional Microneedling Alone?
Secret™ RF needling combines both skin micro-needling AND radio-frequency, producing a synergistic effect much greater than the sum of each treatment individually. Traditional RF uses a handpiece that sits on top of the skin’s surface. The RF energy needs to penetrate through the surface layers of the skin before it produces an effect thus delivering RF at a lower energy level producing less collagen stimulation even though effective.
Secret™ RF micro-needling, on the other hand, uses the micro-needles to deliver the fractionated RF energy directly and precisely into the dermis.
